Volunteer Forum 2017

The Carnegie Mellon University Alumni Association (CMUAA) invites CMU volunteers to the Pittsburgh campus for the 11th Annual Volunteer Forum, August 18-19, 2017. Participate in this volunteer leadership conference to gain insights on university priorities and valuable resources to aid in your roles as CMU's best advocates. Engage with students, fellow volunteer leaders, faculty and staff, build your network and more!

Weekend highlights include:

  • Opening session and lunch with CMU's student orientation volunteer leaders and a special guest to be announced in July!
  • Tours of the Tepper Quad, Maker Ecosystem and CMU's National Robotics Engineering Center
  • CMUThink @ Forum featuring speech recognition and crime solving, and The MoonArk
  • Insider briefs from university leadership on initiatives and priorities in the CMUAA and at CMU
  • Breakout sessions to enhance your volunteer and professional skills

Volunteers also have the unique opportunity of welcoming CMU's incoming Class of 2021 on Saturday, August 19 as part of first-year student orientation.
