Reinventing Higher Education in America

Sponsored by Google

America leads the world in higher education, but the U.S. research university is on the brink of immense change—driven by soaring tuition costs, reduced research support, the challenge (and promise) of digital learning technologies, and the pressures of globalization. President Jared L. Cohon will discuss these issues from Carnegie Mellon’s unique perspective, focusing on the university’s successes and future prospects in this rapidly evolving landscape.

All alumni and parents are invited to join the New York Metro Alumni Chapter to celebrate the sixteen-year tenure of Carnegie Mellon University's President, Jared L. Cohon. Dr. Cohon will lead us in a discussion about the future of higher education, and we hope you can participate in this opportunity for dialogue and to thank him for his dedicated and transformational leadership of our alma mater.

Hors d'oeuvres will be served.

Free to attend.

Registration is required by Thursday, March 28.
Photo ID will be required to access the Google offices.
Please provide all guest names when completing registration.
